VENUE
In order to secure our venue for your wedding day, we require a Venue Fee of R 12 000, 00.
THE VENUE FEE INCLUDES
The use of our quaint Victorian garden gazebo for welcome drinks.
Sherrie, Pimm's - or Fruit Cocktail will be served FREE of charge to Guests while photos are taken. (Platter menu and price list available on request.)
Use of our Chapel with benches, registration table, podium and sound system. ( In Chapel )
Use of our luxury Function Hall with a variety of furniture and décor, to choose from. (If you require more exclusive equipment or linen, our Function Coordinator will put together a quote to suit your style and budget)

Fully automated electrical generator back up for Eskom. ( I can think of nothing worse then trying to host a wedding with no power).
Complimentary Room:
We offer the Bride – to – be a complimentary room on the day of the wedding and turn it into a fairy tale wedding night.
A bottle of Sparkling Wine will be placed in the room.
Breakfast or brunch for the two newly weds is with our compliments on Sunday morning )

Weekend Rate for Wedding Guests:
If you book the room for Friday Saturday and Sunday night. (total of three nights) the special rates apply to all three nights. IF NOT, only the wedding night (Saturday night) – at the discounted rate.

Special braai options at The Waenhuis for wedding quest on Friday evening. (ask for a list of options)
Sunday Breakfast options:
Breakfast available @ R 80 00 pp in the Restaurant. Booking essential. Special Sunday Brunch available by prior arrangement @ R 80.00 pp Tickets available at reception on Saturday. Bride to arrange with Function Coordinator.
Waenhuis open on Saterday and Sunday from 10h00 till 16h00 We serve Old Fasion Foods like Pap & Kaiings, Melkkos, Jaffels, Pancake, Potjiekos etc.

SMOKING
Smoking within the Rooms, Units, Restaurant or Function Hall, is strictly prohibited.
“ Die Waenhuis “ (smoking Area ) very popular for the Friday evening braai or can be used as dance area on the wedding night.
TIMES
The time that you wish to start your wedding proceedings is at your discretion.
Bar closes at 24h00 Midnight.
Function Hall available until Midnight
Morning Function until 14h00.
CHILDREN
All children are to sit with their parents or guardian at the table. No separate tables for children. Children are the responsibility of the parents or guardian ( not our staff ) and are to be minded at all time. Our rabbits, ducks and chickens are tame and they roam free.

VENUE BOOKING
We are happy to hold a provisional booking for your function for 14 days.
If a deposit is not paid within 14 days after the provisional booking, Silver Mist reserves the right to release the provisional booking.
All changes and cancellations regarding the function must be made in writing by the client.
